Get ready for a night of thrills, chills, and unforgettable memories at The Curse of Beargrass Haunted Maze! Join us every Friday and Saturday night throughout October 2026 as the woods of Beargrass come alive after dark. Dare to enter the winding haunted trails and see if you can make it through the darkness! And don’t miss our special Jeep-or-Treat on October 31st, starting at 5 PM, where Jeeps will be handing out candy to kids before the haunted maze opens at dark. Bring your friends and family, grab your courage, and experience the fear, fun, and Halloween excitement waiting for you at Beargrass! Dare to Enter!

Get ready to spread some holiday cheer and hit the trails at the North Georgia Christmas Stampede — an off-road charity event wheeling for a cause!On December 5th, 2026. Bring your Jeeps, Broncos, friends, and family for a festive day of adventure through the beautiful North Georgia mountains. This special event is hosted in collaboration with Beargrass and Georgia Mountain Life, Inc., bringing the off-road community together to make a difference. Whether you’re cruising the trails, showing off your ride, or simply enjoying the Christmas spirit, your participation and donations help support a great cause. Save the date, grab your Jeep or Bronco, decorate it for Christmas, and join us in Talking Rock, Georgia, for an unforgettable holiday adventure!

Beargrass offers primitive tent camping in several sites along Talking Rock Creek, get back to nature in a simple and peaceful way. Where the sounds of running water, singing birds, and plentiful wildlife sightings create a relaxing atmosphere.

Being a primitive camping experience, there are no amenities, campers must bring everything they need, including water, food, cooking supplies, and camping equipment. There are no restrooms, showers, electricity, allowing visitors to enjoy a more rugged and authentic outdoor experience. Primitive camping is ideal for those seeking solitude, adventure, and a chance to disconnect from modern conveniences while enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.

During your stay, feel free to hike or drive our nearly 4 miles of 4×4 trails, wading, swimming or tubing in the creek, or fishing as allowed under GA DNR regulations.

Rules:

Do not feed the wildlife is a real concern. This simple act of kindness can create a bad situation for future visitors.

You may cut any dead wood laying on the ground for firewood.

Do not cut any standing trees! Drive on only established trails.

Do not create any new trails!

Pack it in, pack it out!

Please help us keep Beargrass beautiful for future visits!
